The Mane Tamer & Shoulder Guard was designed to protect the mane, face, chest, withers, and shoulders. We use a large pattern that extends behind the wither and completely covers the shoulders. It has a 2″ elastic girth strap that keeps it from sliding forward. It will provide protection from rubbing and keep bedding/shaving off of the mane and face. They are an excellent tool to use before a show to keep your horse clean.
It has an extra-large zipper for easy installation. The zipper starts at the chin and extends down to the center of the chest. Our Lycra products are made with 200 gram four-way stretch nylon.
